The first passenger transport company in Siauliai was founded in 1940. This company had 29 buses. In 1955 November 1 it was reorganized into the " Bus and Taxi Company”. Since 1940 to 1995 Company‘s name was changed several times.
In 1995, 13 March, Ltd "Šiauliai Bus Park” was renamed to Ltd “Busturas”. New good-sounding name, which is easily understood in different languages, and a new company logo became symbols of a new era of modern passenger transport company.
Ltd „Busturas“ has multiple units.
The company has a Bus Repair Service, Bus Wash and Medical Station, where drivers are tested before departure. These units are located at Šarūno str., 2, Siauliai.
The Company also owns Siauliai Bus Station and Travel Agency, which is easy to find: both of them are located in the shopping and entertainment center "Sun City" (Tilžės str., 109, Siauliai).
Company's main activities are passenger transport routes in urban, suburban, long distance, also international scheduled and charter services.
Ltd „Busturas“ main objectives are quality - passenger transport services regularity, reliability and comfort. City bus stops are announced bus traffic schedules. Each passenger traveling by bus of our company is insured.

Currently Ltd "Busturas’ has 153 buses, the company employs about 400 staffs. Company buses carry about 18 million passengers per year.
The Company is actively involved in the activities of the Lithuanian carriers “Linava”, and solves all important matters in collaboration with other nationwide carriers.
In 2011, 1 February, in Brussel, Ltd „Busturas“ among small and medium enterprises category won the EUROPEAN ROAD SAFETY CHARTER award - for the regularly checking the bus driver knowledge of traffic rules issues.

Construction of gas-powered bus service base, which has a special security requirements;
